Insatiable
What are we searching for and why does it seem like we never get there. But are we already there? We seek fullfilment in accomplishment. But it’s how we define accomplishment that matters. Accomplishment is making something from nothing, solving a problem, bringing an idea to life. In another words, creating. When we become creative there is that enthusiasm, that life force that makes us feel alive. It can be a small creative act or big one, but the feeling is just the same. And in that one moment we feel complete. It’s in the moment that we find what we seek. Unfortunately we stay stuck in the past or we get ahead of ourselves thinking of a future that hasn’t arrived. And so life becomes insatibale. Nothing satisfies. The secret lies in THIS MOMENT! How we live, behave and feel in this moment is what shapes our lives, therefore each moment has possibilities, choices and the ability for change and beginnings. So that expression of “Live in the moment” does have some weight to it. Becuase this moment is the only moment we can feel fullfilled. Not in the past which does not exist anymore, not in the future because that doesn’t exist right now either.
