Look into my eyes and see

I am not the armour and the little things

that adorn it.

Do not label me.

I am not the story you heard of me.

I am not a character playing a role.

I am not what society dictates.

Do not place your preconceptions on me.

I just am.

Look into your eyes and see

the true essence of you.

You are not the narrative you tell yourself.

You are not to be labeled and judged.

You are not your thoughts and emotions.

There is more, something deeper

to you and I.

A true essence.
